Master Qian Zhou began training in Chinese martial arts when she was a child. In her teenage years, Qian studied and practiced Qi Gong. She frequently attended workshops and seminars on different styles of Qi Gong. Qian became a journalist after school and had many opportunities to meet and interview well-known Qi Gong masters in different cities in China. Some of these masters (Daoist, Wu Dang, Feng Sui etc.) became Qian’s teachers. Qian also eventually became a disciple of Master Shi, Heng Fu of the Shaolin Temple and learned ancient Chinese Qi Gong practices from Master Shi. These Qi Gong practices integrate theories of Traditional Chines Medicine, Ying Yang, Yi Jing and self-guiding breathing techniques thus making Qi Gong a highly effective health care system which promotes physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
She is also 12th Generation successor of Chen’s Tai Chi, Disciple of Grand Master Chen Zhenglei, the 11th lineage holder of Chen’s Tai Chi.
Qian taught many years in China before moving to Canada in 2008. She continues teaching, sharing her knowledge and helping students in Montreal and Ottawa.
